Just bought Murakami’s The Wind-up Bird Chronicle for £1; this should off-set the ridiculous amount I paid for the Swedish version some years ago in Stockholm.
This should also mean that I can finally begin to read the book. I think I was a bit ambitious at the time, A1 level Swedish doesn’t really lend itself to Murakami. Now all I need to find is an equally low-cost copy of Norwegian Wood in English and I am off!
