書」
How to write kanji 「書」?
This kanji has a lot of horizontal strikes. When I write it by hand, can I combine some strokes, like they are combined at the PC?
Why I used word “strike”?? Hmm… :)))

Oh, those kanji :)) It seems, when I was 4-years-old I wrote in Russian faster, then now I wrote in Japanese…
Many Japanese comment that they can’t write kanji any more since the word processor came along.
I also have read that average Japanese uses more difficult kanji now, than several decades ago, but he can’t write this kanji.
But I copy my corrected writings and tutor’s comments to my exercise book and then read it on the bus or even at work at the lunch time. Previously I just printed it, but now I prefer to write myself, because this way I remember kanji better.
As Edward said, you can’t combine any strokes. Also it is very important to write in the right order. I found the site which teaches you the stroke order. http://kakijun.main.jp/ The site is in Japanese, but click on the light blue「漢字の検索」button on the left side, then type a kanji in the text box, and clock on 「検索する.」Now you know which order you should write.
Yes, I can read a lot of kanji, but I can’t write a lot of them. I know the shape, but I forget details…

Yup, it is very similar! Russian site works better because it has a lot of examples
