Word definitions broken on app

I have already turned off the use context settings for both lingq and vocab, per the discussion about how the AI generated meanings are awful because they are for entirely the wrong word.

And I just created this lesson today.

See how the vocab is using definitions that are entirely wrong–for the wrong words entirely, for all the ones after the hyphenated word?

I guess this is another example of how the hyphenation bug is breaking other stuff?

I thought that was discovered days ago? Has it not yet been fixed for the app?

(If I didn’t already know these words, imagine how misleading this would be.)

Footnote: “LingQ v6.0.11 (0)”

In case I am out of date?

How would I know if I am out of date?

This highlights that the testing philosophy at Lingq isn’t good enough. They would do well to improve it. It’s a bad idea to just make big changes to the live environment with the attitude that ‘Don’t worry we can fix it in post’. They outsource alot - dictionaries, content provision etc. Outsourcing testing your code to the users isn’t a good idea.

Can you please update the app to version 6.0.12 we released today and let me know if you see improvements? Thanks.

I updated and now it doesn’t show a hyphenated word there and the definitions are lined up.

Thank you.
