I have always wondered that too. I’m guessing if they had an app for the desktop they would have to pay Apple to have their app. And also more people would sign up for a LingQ subscription through the Apple Store which would take even more money from LingQ. So maybe it’s just more affordable to pay for a website. I could be totally wrong though. It would be a cool idea though.
@Bruno448 It’s not in our plans at the moment and it’s unlikely that desktop apps will be available anytime soon.
What do you need a desktop app for if you can just use LingQ within your browser?
… and be able to use shortcuts and macros for multiple shortcuts.
