I would be careful about reading too much into the basic compliments about your Japanese - the “nihongo ojoozu desu ne!” one especially. If you are really good they will allow you into the regular conversation with other natives. The materials on LingQ even for N1 are still a ways off from the level of how someone would speak in a business or high academic situation as a native. Also culturally at a certain lower casual level Japanese appreciate interest in their language and culture but to really acknowledge it deeply takes a very high level of competence.

Also, I was working from home in an English company, so I was living in a bubble not in Germany TBH
but For the last 3 months I’m in very serious try now to master it, I’m in a good way in mid of B2 for example, but for speaking I really suffer
