I’ve created a new page for the wiki called Links to External resources. Please feel free to add links to your favourite non-LingQ language sites, either by editing the wiki page: LingQ / Links to External Resources or just adding to this thread. Thank you!
English as a Second Language Podcast

There is a vein of good humor running through the podcasts.—YutakaM
For some reason that link doesn’t work here. (The wiki page)
“http:// . . . -to-External-Resourc es”
Remove a space between c and e.
I tried that the first time and it didn’t work. Second time lucky! haha
http://www.mijnwoordenboek.nl/ - Great online dictionary for Dutch
I added First Monday podcast and NASA podcasts to the “Sources of audio with transcripts” section
We still have this Sources of content for LingQ members. - Google Sheets
Also I prepared some documents for German sources: http://tinyurl.com/yjdvle5
And Marianne for French sources as well: http://tinyurl.com/yzykel9
We use this to introduce new user or encourage experienced users.
We should be aware of this!
Thanks Vera: I have added links to those documents in the wiki.
The wiki page can’t possibly hold all the other useful websites because it will get too long. I intended it as a holding place for all the URLs that crop up on the forum and then are hard to find after a week. It makes sense for, e.g. podcasts with transcripts to be moved to the LingQ spreadsheet of sources of audio with transcript.
No, I don’t think so, as a lot of people don’t know about the spreadsheet (esp. newcomers). Perhaps, we should split that page into several pages.
Let’s see how big it gets. That’s the thing about wikis, they evolve.
Whatever happened to this good idea?
(These forums are like the Labrea Tar Pits.)
Now you find the links to these websites on the import page. Choose Task > Import lesson and you see them on the right.
@Veral
Thank you.
