Updating a YouTube import lesson seems to "double" the audio file

All,

New LingQ user here. Wondering if I can get an assist:

Imported this YouTube video as a lesson: La modernité est-elle la maturité du christianisme ? Par le Père Marc Lambret - YouTube

Worked fine second time, split into three lessons due to size.

The video is of a Frenchman giving a lecture. The YouTube import imported the “Text to Speech” which comes through unformatted without sentence breaks.

I also have the text of the speech at this link here, perfectly formatted. http://mlambret.free.fr/article.php3?id_article=167

Seems like it should be a simple copy-paste into the text via Edit Lesson. However, when I paste the text and try to save, I get the following error:

  • Field “audio”: The audio length must be between 10 seconds and 60 minutes. The audio you uploaded was 73 minutes and 50 seconds. View content specifications.

Now, the audio from the YouTube vid original was 36:55, which is half of the 73:50 I believe…

Any ideas here?

THANK YOU for helping a newb!

Thanks for reporting this! I was able to reproduce the same problem.
Will be forwarded right away to our development team and I am sure they will fix it as soon as they can.
