Unrecognized new words

Recently there have been some unseen words that the system didn’t recognize as new or unseen words. The words aren’t highlighted in blue and I also can’t press them to see a translation. The system just ignores them. It happens to about one or two new words per lesson in any language.

Am I doing something wrong?

Here are two examples. It seems to only affect lingqs of several words. I might have saved them in the past, I am not sure.

You mean like this: Anmelden - LingQ

This is Chapter 13 of Harry Potter - 5 in french. I didn’t import it myself. There were affected words in every chapter.

In this chapter it seems to affect all words with a contraction >> ‘ << like “t’aime”, “s’éloigner”, “j’habite” etc. In Russian I haven’t figured out a pattern yet.

The problem also wasn’t there from the start. I have only recently in the last few weeks noticed it.

Also: the problem occurs both on my IOS tablet and my android phone.
