Interesting, as I was going to give the opposite advice 
I do agree with you that dubbed content, particularly series, is not the same as native films primarily because the audio is much crisper. But I think if one is at the point where podcasts and simple YouTube videos are easy and native films are hard, this provides a nice bridge between the two.
