Unable to import audio for transcription

Hello. I am unable to import new audio podcasts for transcription. When I click the “Add” button the progress wheel spins for a few seconds and then nothing happens. The import window remains open, and the file does not get uploaded.

I have tried troubleshooting using different browsers and devices without success. The problem started in the past 48 hours. I verified that the audio files are ok and I have previously uploaded over 130 audio files successfully.

Is there a known issue with importing audio?

I think it’s the same issue several of us have mentioned here:

We will have it fixed. Thanks for your patience.

I am having the same problem, @zoran

@Fael168 Do you see any error message when you try to import audio?

No, it’s the same problem
When I click to transcript the audio, the page load but never save the lesson.
Then I do it again and it’s the same thing.
But it doesn’t show any messages error

Please note that each user is limited to a maximum of 600 audio minutes of transcription per month. Did you see a message that you have reached the limit?

I haven’t seen a message about a transcription limit. No error message or notification. Where would that message be expected to appear?

@7fwsjrhsmc When you select the audio file, the message should appear on the left. Did you try any other file?

I tried to import audio yesterday and it worked with the same file that failed before. I have never seen the 600 minutes error message before. It’s possible that I reached the limit but the error message isn’t working. It would be good if users could check how many minutes they have consumed each month, similar to what we can do with limited mobile phone plans. This meter could be placed in account settings next to the LingQs Limit.

@7fwsjrhsmc That’s in plans, we’ll work on that. Glad to hear importing worked eventually!
