Two questions on the Library

Two questions on the Library.

(I pressed enter and posted a blank comment…gulp)

My two questions are:

Should we have a Members Voices shelf in the Library? I know that learners can Edit their “My Picks” or Browse the Library to search for these, but that is not obvious to many. Would it be better to feature content created by our own members in this way?

Should the Library be easier to find?

I like the library and find it attractive and motivating. At present people enter LingQ at the Home page, and the Library is several clicks away under Lessons.

Should it have its own Tab? Should it be the first page we come to ?

Yet we want people to go the Home page, especially when they start. What are your views?

Should the Library be easier to find?

Ja,ich würde es gut finden, wenn die Library nicht so" versteckt " wäre.

Should it be the first page we come to ? Ja!!

I like the library and find it attractive and motivating. Ja! Das finde ich auch! Ich bin sehr froh ,dass es LingQ gibt!!!

Frankly, I do not see the problem regarding the site’s navigation. People come here with the positive belief this is the best site to learn a language, and I must say that I found the library very easily when I got on lingq.

I do not understand the first question, aren’t lessons/content already created by members?

I meant content actually created, recorded by members, as opposed to content provided from third sources like VOA or podcasts and the like.

Having a section for members voices might be a good idea. I think it would be good if beginner and no knowledge lessons were clearly displayed and very accessible. It probably wouldn’t hurt to have a really obvious link to the library on the welcome page, perhaps at the top above Lessons but below “Home, Lessons, Community”, if that makes sense.
