Galton added: “We are delighted that English Heritage is celebrating Tony with a plaque. It is a little ironic that a man who steadfastly refused throughout his career to use any blue material should be remembered with a blue plaque.”

Does “blue material” mean something related to so-called “celebrities”?
Does it not have anything to do with blue plaques?

Blue material is material not fit for polite society  , verging on the pornographic, whereas Blue Placques dot Britain to commemorate former residents of each respective home.

(A number captcha, what a treat!)

Umm . . .
