The feature I’m looking for is a simple button that adjust the time stamp of the current sentence to the current time of the audio, while also pushing all future time stamps forward. I want to be able to listen to the audio and read as I go along, so the ending of the time stamp isn’t so important. I just want to be able to click on a sentence in synchronized text mode and go to that part of the audio. But often the time stamps slowly drift out of sync with the audio. Seems like a simple fix to add a button that says “this sentence is located at the current point in the audio”. It wouldn’t be perfect, but it would be much faster than going thru the lesson and adjusting hundreds of sentences seconds at a time.
There’s been a very similar suggestion recently* here: Create an option to regenerate timestamps from a given starting position
I am very much in favor of both suggestions!
*edit: recent-ish. As in, a year ago
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll forward this to our development team and we will see what we can do.
Yes, this or something like it would be dead handy. The automatic detection works well sometimes, other times it gets lost and some kind of easy manual adjustment would work especially when it is way out.
You are right, I agree with you.

That is a great feature! Adding a button to synchronize the timestamp of the current sentence with the audio’s current playback position would be very helpful. It would save time and effort, especially for long lessons where adjustments are needed frequently. This way, you could easily stay in sync without manually adjusting each timestamp. It’s a practical solution that many users would likely appreciate! I’m a student in Business Administration, and I needed help with a marketing paper. I decided to use https://domypaper.com and I’m so glad I did! The writer delivered a well-researched and clearly written paper that helped me understand the topic better. The service was fast and reliable, and I’m very happy with the result.
