This app won't work for your device (Android play store)

After hearing the good reports with Lingq on a Boox device, well - I got one. (Boox color 7, gen 2). The message from the android store is in the title.
Is there something I need to know/do? How did other Boox users manage to get lingq working on their Boox?

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the Boox device and can’t help here. Hopefully, someone with the mentioned device will be able to provide useful feedback,

Thanks for the reply Zoran,
Pity - as (color) e-ink android readers seem like a match made in heaven for Lingq. I downloaded chrome, and reading in page mode beats every other display I have used. I can even leave the translations on without being distracted. New words and 4 out of the 5 word ‘levels’ are distinguishable. (The interface doesn’t render perfectly though). A browser won’t work on internet-less airlines though, and is likely a battery draw too.
My favorite device to Lingq on is a used iPad mini (previous gen) in dark mode. There are however no translations in page mode though. The speaker audio is killer, and the native apple voice in my TL is pretty good too.
E-ink is (IMO) the best screen to read on, and I hope that your team considers supporting more of these modern devices in the future.

You can install an apk, and it works!

You are right! I had previously tried to side-load an APK, but it was old, and I could not get past the login. I tried a May 2025 APK and it works great! Thanks!
