… how to view a course … What exactly do you mean?
A course, as you say, can have many lessons. If you have a lesson on your screen or on your display, you’ll find the name of the course somewhere on top of the page (on the iPhone you have to go tot he first page of the lesson) . If you click on that name, you get a list of all the lessons in that course. Is that what you are looking for?

I can see courses on the desktop but the first page of a lesson in the iPhone app doesn’t show any course button or link. In fact I can’t find any button or link on the iPhone app with the word ‘course’ or ‘courses’ on it anywhere… The first page of the lesson does have a LingQ icon which when pressed takes you to a page that has a ‘like’ button…greyed links to audio (the lesson in question has no audio). The home page shows all lessons which can be sorted by: recently opened, relevance, likes, recently shared…

I think that a lot the LingQ interface is driven by the urge to gamify…but there appears to be no hierarchy of what a user will intuitively want.

For example The main links on the menu bar on the desktop interface has: My lessons, My imports, My archives.

Why would anyone want to separately identify ‘my imports’ from ‘my lessons’. That makes no sense. It’s like you have a library at home and you divide it up according to where you bought the books.

Then there’s a button on the right that says ‘Take all’. What on earth does that mean? Clicking on it opens a menu bar with: edit course…and share button

But why ‘take all’?

Has LingQ produced any kind of guide that explains this very eccentric interface?

It’s rather like getting into your car and finding that the Steering wheel is in the trunk and that right in front of you is a button for to ‘like’ this car.

Hi pmda.
After you open a lesson on the iOS app, click on the three dots on the top right to access Lesson Info page from where you can also see list of all lessons in a course if you click on the course title.
Also, you can use the settings button from where you can control the tab settings and enable tabs you preffer to see on the home page, including “course library” and “my courses” tabs.
