Paul aka Paule89!!! The most attractive and masculine voice ever!!! Combined with the sexiest-sounding language which is German, it’s a winner! If you haven’t heard Paul, I urge to visit the Exchange where he’s recently done a reading. Paul, please do more recordings, it’ll help me stay on track with my German :))))))))))
I already told Paul a while back that aussie girls would fall for him! ^^
hahaha I see. He’s got a following here then. I’m not surprised.
I told the same things to Paul when we had conversations with him in German

@ kimojima
Have you ever thought about doing your own stuff? Maybe you can be the next Paule.
@ColinJohnstone - Let’s give Paule a chance to enjoy his new found fame before we rush about trying to dethrone him
I just watched Pulp Fiction in German. I wonder how many points I would have to pay to get him to record this
@Colin
I followed the link - it was one of those times when you think to yourself: ‘huh, I don‘t seem to remember that being in German!‘
“it was one of those times when you think to yourself: ‘huh, I don‘t seem to remember that being in German!‘”
Alex, I was talking about this audio from October:
But the one you posted is HOT too.
Thanks a lot. I think I was blushing like a schoolgirl for a few seconds, haha.^^
I made a few recordings for the library too…
@liking voices
I wonder what exactly makes us like a voice…
Do we instinctively understand the connection between sexual hormones and people´s voices? (Testosterone makes the voice deeper while ostrogen makes a voice higher, which makes low voices seem manly and high voices feminine)
Does our childhood influence us? I´m one of the few people who like their own voice, mostly because I sound like my father. I might have started associating his voice with security, comfort and whatnot when I was a child. On the other hand, I know a girl who pretty much hates her own voice because she sounds like her mom.
What do you guys think?
You’re most welcome Do German men respond well to women’s advances, compliments and such? I tried once to flirt with a young scientist from Bremen. It was like flirting with a wall :))))))))))))))))))) It went absolutely nowhere hahahaha
I totally agree that the resemblance of your voices helps you identify with your dad and the good qualities of your dad, ergo it’s comforting. It’s like having him around at all times.
For me a manly voice is definitely sexy, but then I also love strong, velvety voices that some women have, like that of Cate Blanchett, when she speaks in her native British accent especially.
“Do German men respond well to women’s advances, compliments and such?”
I guess it depends on the guy and the situation .^^
I ignore pretty every women that chat´s me up on the street…because, so far, almost everyone of them was either a promoter, a fundraiser or a prostitute. Flirting with girls at night clubs, concerts, events is not a problem though.
“I tried once to flirt with a young scientist from Bremen. It was like flirting with a wall”
Maybe he was shy? Maybe he was not interested? Maybe he didn´t think you were serious? You´re not the first one who complains that “German guys can´t flirt” actually. Dunno if that´s true and dunno why.^^
Well, how serious does one have to be when she flirts?! Yeah, I guess he had his reasons. The fact that it was at his place of work and I was literally his experiment subject was probably one of them.
I´m sure you´d find a decent German guy. It´s not like German women are “super-tough competition” anyway…^^
Paul, Paul, you didn’t just diss German women, did you? I love men with nice voices but I love men who love women more.
“you didn’t just diss German women, did you?”
I did.
“I love men with nice voices but I love men who love women more.”
Saying “German women are not unbeatable” doesn´t mean I don´t love women, you know.?^^
I know. Just checking.
I suppose I can’t say that Russian men are crème de la crème. Although they are loveable and very unique in some ways.
Kimojima, I think we should give these two lovebirds some privacy.
