I know I’ve touched on this before, but I’ve not been active on LingQ for a while, so apologies if it’s already been covered…
I think it would be worthwhile making available to members “standard” requests, which could then be copy/pasted when emailing podcast providers to ask permission to use their material at LingQ. This would avoid having to “reinvent the wheel” every time somebody wanted to do this, with consequent savings in time and effort etc. Perhaps these could be kept in a separate Forum folder (Stickies ?), so they can be accessed quickly and easily. The threads themselves could be called something like:
TEMPLATE PERMISSION REQUEST (English)
with equivalents for the other languages covered at LingQ.
To keep it simple - maybe people could post their own versions of what they’ve used before (especially if they’ve had success !), and members could choose which one they want, modifying as they see fit.
We’ll work on something like this. Hopefully we can even have a section of the site related to this type of stuff so that members can get more involved in the community.
