That’s some great stuff you posted there.
I keep a journal and every evening I write down the things I managed to do or accomplish and some stuff I learned. I also start every day with an attitude of gratitude. I literally think about at least 3 simple things I am grateful for and actually feel that gratitude. That’s something I learned from Tony Robbins and I’ve been doing that (and some other cool stuff) for quite some time now and I managed to change the way I live my life on a daily basis. So the lady in this video is right, we can change the way we think, but it requires some work. The good news is it’s easy and pleasurable.

But that’s also something we can use to motivate ourselves to learn languages and even more importantly - to follow through. I just remember my first contact with the new language - when all I was able to say was “ciao”. Now I see how much I’ve improved. I’m far away from fluent or even understanding a simple conversation on the street, but I don’t think about that. I just focus on what I’ve learned so far and that now I can at least introduce myself!

Sorry if I spammed your thread :stuck_out_tongue:
