Switch to annual pay

Does anyone know how to switch to paying annually when paying through Google Play? It only seems possible to cancel or re-subscribe on the same monthly plan. I emailed LingQ support to ask but haven’t had a response in over a week so trying here…

Unfortunately, that’s how Google subscriptions work at the moment. You will need to cancel your subscription and then wait for your account to drop to FREE level on June 14th (no worries, your data, and progress will remain saved). After it drops to FREE, you will be able to upgrade back to any plan you want.
