I´m listening carefully and repeatedly a lot of mp3 at same subject, I´m able now to percept word boundaries in speech, a lot of word I understand a few words I forgot, I saw this is called speech segmentation phase.
My question is what happens later? I mean not the finish when I will get fluency but in the midst of journey?
Anyone can describe that “AHA moment”?
I find that this happens after a few months. Then starts the long long road to fluency, one where you have to acquire a lot of words. The process is gradual with a lot of peaks and valleys, and then one day you realize that you understand most of articles that were incomprehensible for you months or even a year earlier. It depends on the language, at least that has been my experience.
