Hello - i can’t seem to ever use linx AI. I always get this error “Speech recognition failed: network”
Are you in the Standard Lynx mode? Do you see that error if you try to click on the microphone icon?
Yes, exactly. Standard mode and it happens when I try to talk by using the push to talk microphone button. I don’t seem to have any issues when using other applications or browser websites with my microphone (e.g. google meet etc)
Strange, I can’t reproduce the issue on my end. What browser are you using?
Brave 1.88.136 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 146.0.7680.164
If there’s someone at Lingq who wants to help , i can provide logs or whatever you need
. Its 100% reproducible for me.
When did you start experiencing the issue? Or were you never able to use it?
It’s never worked for me
Thanks. Strange, but I am still unable to identify any issue here. We also haven’t received any similar complain. I asked our QA team to look deeper into this and try to reproduce the issue on their end.
Have you tried replicating it using my browser? ![]()
Yes, worked on my end on Chromium too. Can you test on your end on a different browser and let me know what happens?
It’s not enough to test on chromium. I’m using Brave browser which I suppose is causing the issue for your application. Are you using built in google speech apis?
Try on Brave and it wont work.
@eternalbeat Our QA team will investigate this further. Thanks.
Thanks for investigation. The same happens to me. In Brave and in Chrome.
”Speech recognition error detected: network”
Hello @eternalbeat The Brave blocks Google recognition. I tried to use mic on the Google website - and there is a similar error. After some research I found this post by the Brave developers.
Hi @Lohengrin1893 It should work in Chrome. Could you please check it in the incognito mode?
