I find the lingq.com server intolerably slow to load new pages. I don’t think the problem is my own connection, but I would like to ask other users their experience, please. Otherwise, I like the site.
Unfortunately, I also noticed that for last days the LingQ server has been working much slower.
Yes, I think there is a problem and we are doing a number of things to really speed it up. I hope the problem will be resolved soon. Patience please. Mark may have more to say on this.

LingQ has alway been slower than the most other resources in web what I use.
That’s true. But for some reasons it is much slower since about 3 weeks.
There are aspects of our system that are resource intensive and slow since we are comparing large amounts of data. We are aware of the speed issues and we are working to improve them. We realize it is frustrating. We hope to upload a change in the next day or so that will significantly speed up the Lesson page. We will see once the changes are live if they are effective on the live server.
Mark, it is not only the lesson page. Since 3 weeks it needs 20 to 60 seconds to load the community page for me. I know, I’ve a lot of friends, but earlier I needed only 3 to 5 seconds.

Seriously, sometimes I see that Lingq is slow when it loads pages, but not all the time. I haven’t noticed a pattern.
I waited 30 minutes (!) for the “next lesson in collection” to load, before I changed browser to Google Chrome. It worked OK (but far from perfectly).
That is the area we hope to speed up significantly in the next day or so. We made a change there recently that seems to have made it worse for longer lessons. This could be the source of the general site slowness of late.
