I paid up for another six months on LingQ yesterday thru Paypal. How long does it take for my account to reflect the change in status from FREE to BASIC?? At this point I am unable to create any new LingQs. I would have liked the expiration notice to have been sent a week or 2 before my status actually expired… so the transition could have been made more seamlessly, without loss of features. Thanks

From what I can see, we haven’t received a payment from you yet. Please check the status of the transaction. As soon as we receive a cleared payment we will upgrade your account. Alternatively you can sign up for a 1 month recurring payment now then pay for a 6 month membership on top of that. We will manually cancel the recurring payment and add 6 months onto your membership so you won’t have to worry about getting charged again and again.
We’ll see if we can integrate something in to the system that will send out notifications before expiration of 6 month memberships. For now it’s all done manually, so it’s a bit more tedious and harder to keep track of.
We did a bit of digging and found that your payment did go through but we weren’t sent a notification for it. Sorry about that! Your account is upgraded now with the new 6-month membership. Enjoy!
