Sentence view dual transcription with source and target language

Hi, I’ve found the sentence view to be very useful for listening exposure and making sure I correctly understand what is being heard. It would also be helpful if there were a side-by-side of the language we are learning with our native language. I would like to be able to listen in French only, then listen in French again with sentence view containing only the French transcript, but then listen a third time with the French and English transcriptions side by side (or one beneath the other, or some other method) so that I can also get used to the meaning of the word in spoken context without having to navigate one word at a time through the transcription on the page where they are marked yellow for new words.

LingQ has been amazing, thanks!

On the web, there are shortuts. I’d like Lingq to make them in the app.
You could

  • go to the next sentence (shift & right), generate audio (a or s) and show the translation (shift and t). It’s disappointing this isn’t one shortcut.
  • You could then repeat audio and turn off the transcipt or what ever variation you like.
With a second device and a bluetooth and macro app you could automate some of this.

Thanks for your feedback, guys. We’ll see what can be done here.
