Selection and display of incorrect words

This problem has been happening for about a week. I’m learning French and I’ve noticed two issues in the LingQ reader:
(1) Sometimes when I click on a word, LingQ shows the wrong word. For example, as in the screenshot, when I click on “d’interrogatoire”, the popup shows “salle”, and when I click again it shows “ne”, although sometimes it does show the correct word.
(2) When I click on a blue word that I don’t know and select an explanation for it, the word remains blue instead of turning yellow as a LingQ.

Does anyone know how to solve these two problems?

Bonjour @superk ! Moi aussi, j’ai ce problème depuis une semaine. Je dois quitter de la leçon et rentre de nouveau à le terminer. Mais le problème revient après quelques pages donc je dois de nouveau quitter et rentre.

I have seen the same problem. I do a refresh of the page in my browser, to corrected the problem.

I have been experiencing this bug as well. I hope that it will be fixed soon because it concerns the main function of LingQ. It is really annoying.

Yes, I’m also experiencing these two issues. LingQ isn’t really usable for me right now - especially because of the wrong word problem. Waiting for a fix. Thanks.

Been going on for a while now.i suspect ot has to do with the hyphen problem. Mine usually happens after hyphenated words and pulls the word right after it and uses it for the next lingq

I would also like to see this problem fixed. I’m a new customer and am very disappointed. After a few minutes of use, the words you mark to save do not render correctly in the UI anymore as shown above.

Yeah, I know how you feel, bro. But I hope I can persuade you to keep using LingQ after this bug is fixed. If it weren’t for this bug, it would be amazing. I’m afraid I have some bad news for you…

This is clearly due to the hyphenated word issue, that has been on schedule to be fixed “soon” for 67 days now.

So it’s probably time to update your LingQs for the word “soon” to reflect this new usage, and to avoid any confusion in the future. :+1: :sweat_smile:
