I actually deleated all the words that I had saved because I wanted to have a fresh start.
Is there any way to reset the number of known words to zero?

Yukiko, Alex and Mark are at a conference all day today. I am sure one of them will reply when they can.
Do you see your name at the top right of the screen? Click on that to bring down a little menu, click on ‘Account’ and you will see in that page the option to delete the languages that you have on your account. I guess that is all you need to do.
