I love this app! I am a university Arabic instructor and I use it extensively for my students. One thing I would love to do is to add beginning readers in the style of children’s vocabulary controlled readers, similar to the Dick and Jane books in English. Having large images on each page is really helpful for developing vocabulary and activating visual memory in the process. It would be great if you could add the ability to have large images on each page with a small amount of text beneath the image, rather than just the small thumbnail option that is currently available.
Could be made in a good way, but we don’t need another Duolingo. 
If the same system works with comics that will be good.
Since picture books/comics are mostly pictures, LingQ could let us select the area where the text are so that LingQ can OCR them. It can also be smart enough to auto detect them.
This would give LingQ a unique feature that other readers don’t have… yet. Learn with picture/comics & Learn with text.
That is a good idea. I would definitely use something like that for learning Japanese.
