Hi folks over there, I’ve a question!

In the UK, there is what they call: Received Pronunciation (RP). I wonder if this exists (or if there is its equivalent) in The USA, Canada, Austaria or New Zealand for that matter.

Central Iowa is in the region of the United States most closely associated with the General American accent. The regional accent covers an area of the Midwest stretching from Lincoln, Nebraska to Des Moines, Iowa to Peoria, Illinois.
