When I import French text, Lingq misses out one of the "L"s in all words containing a double L eg elle displays as two words - el and e. I’m using the latest version of Safari.
Imported as ePUB? or txt file format or copy paste? Sometime I notice ePUB imports weirdly, some words get merged into 1 word. So sometimes I have to convert it to text, check and import that instead or use copy and paste.
Both PDF and direct import using Lingq extension.
