Hello. I imported a short article from El Pais, and as I was reading and lingqing it, I noticed that several of the words had joined together to make one big word. This occurred several times in the article. Most of the time I knew both words so I kept it blue, but a few times I didn’t know one of them, so I lingQed it.
Is there any way to go back and separate the words after LingQ has processed it?
It sounds like the issue here is with the formatting of the original text. What you might want to do before importing the lesson is to copy and paste it into a word processor (Wordpad, etc.) and then fix any problem words. If you’ve already imported the lesson and are studying it, just click the Edit icon at the top right of the lesson text to edit these words. I’d recommend not saving these words, since it won’t save “this word” but will save “thisword” instead, which won’t be of much help down the road. Hope that helps!
