Hi there. I am quite advanced at the language I’m practicing but new at lingq. I imported my first text and am going through it. I find that words are extremely often erroneously getting selected (even though I didn’t click on them) and links are created that are then a hassle to get rid of. Once a link has been created, the “I know this word” option is no longer available and the only way I can get rid of them is to go into the “manage vocabulary” option and remove them. If this would happen once or twice that would be one thing, but it happens many times per page. It’s a constant hassle that greatly reduces my efficiency.
If you want to avoid auto LingQs creation, you can disable that option under the settings (gear icon) on the home page, Reader Settings tab.
Or you can access the same settings under the gear icon on the top right on the lesson page.

If you have accidentally created a link, you can remove it right away by clicking the word and then clicking the ignore button (the one with the gray circle that is next to the blue check mark button). Clicking the ignore button removes the existing link and when you click the word again the “I know this word” option is available again.
