When I find a new word and I want to save it as a LingQ, I have to click on it and its translation appears on it. Sometimes, therefore, there is no translation and I have to look it up on other dictionaries. Why?
Why are some words already translated and others not? Thanks
Hi there,
The hints that you see on the blue popup are hints that were created by other users. If a word hasn’t been saved by another person yet, then there will be no user hints. When creating LingQs, you are welcome to take one of the user hints, or you can search the dictionary to find your own hint. Every time you save a word that has no hints, everyone that comes after you and goes to save that word will also see your hint
