Hi guys,

I am still having problems that I (and others) have previously reported, so I’ll explain again in the hope that something will eventually be done to address these issues which are present in the Android app AND the web version.

  1. When I try to amend the title of a lesson, the amended title is saved in the lesson itself but NOT in the lessons’ list when I click on a course. I am left with missing titles or partially amended titles which doesn’t look right.

  2. Courses that have previously been deleted are still appearing in the “continue studying” area and there is no way to get rid of them.

I have been told that caching issues would be looked at, but there are still present weeks (if not months) down the line. I appreciate that developers are busy, but I am concerned that these issues are still plaguing the new version when it is just about to be released.

All these issues are not present in v4, only in v5.

hi, this is completely broken for me. Launch app, splash screen shows for few seconds then crashes

Daily goal works now. But the number of LingQs created in a lesson is zero all the time. Also, I had to kill the app a few times for it to load a lesson. I just had a blank lesson screen with the animation that indicates loading, but nothing ever happened.

The language seems to change itself on its own. As if some background processing were going on around the language you had previously up, and the app would switch (back) to the language it was working on.

Me too since i have installed this version it does not launch on my phone.

Same here. Using OnePlus Nord, Android 11, Oxygen OS 11.1.7.7.AC01BA if any of these happen to matter.

App Tester hasn’t given me 323 on either of my two Android devices. It shows 5.2.22 (322) as the most recent version.

I need to open a lesson multiple times to see up to date information of the progress of each lingq. First almost all words look like “known words”, and only in the subsequent tries the status of each word is accurate.

@lingq when is this being looked at the latest update is not launching for several people on this post. Lingq is completely unusable for me. It does not launch at all.

If there are more than 200 sentences in a text (I don’t know exactly what the limit is, but perhaps around 300), the Sentence mode crashes when you try to move to the 96th sentence.
