Thank you for elaborating on this, Veral.
When you want audio transcripts in your target language, do you use LingQ exchange or any other web services?

I donāt do this. In my target languages is enough content available. There is a lot stuff here on LingQ and elsewhere. Some is for free, but I bought some books, audiobooks etc too. I think it get more if I speak to a tutor. So I would spend the points for that. In English I donāt need scripts. I listen to podcasts without a script on the one hand, on the other hand I read books without the audio. That works good at my level. For French I prefer having a transcript.
May I ask what English podcast you subscribe to?

English, baby!
G pod
I want to find more because I have a long commute that I can spend time for listening, but it is a little hard to find podcasts that fits my level and interests!
Thanks for the links Yukiko, Iāll have a look on them.
My favourite podcast is Outlook from the BBC: Lives Less Ordinary
It is British English. It has true life stories and includes the history programme Witness. It lasts about 50 minutes and this is exactly the time that I spend in my car when Iām commuting. I like it because it is interesting enough to keep me focused and the interview partners speak in a huge variety of accents which improves my listening abilities.
In response to another one of your comments, I canāt seem to send a reply to it. Another great podcast to be aware of is:
Art of Charm: www.artofcharm.com
That is probably one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. They are typically around 45 min. to an hour long. And it is usually from what I can tell free. So you shouldnāt have any trouble getting a chance to listen to them at nothing else.

CodeRed82, thank you so much! I listened to one episode and liked it! It was a little bit challenging for me because they speak at native speed, but it was a good listening practice. I have a long commute to work, so this format works great as well.
Hi Iain,
I just stumbled upon this thread, and I am also willing to contribute content to the LingQ community, but as Vera and others have mentioned, doing transcripts are time-consuming and there is no reward - of course, besides the smug feeling of helping out other language learners!
I just wanted to check in and see if your project is still alive. Iād be willing to transcribe English and Korean content.
Thanks.
