First of all, I LOVE the interface, way more professional, visually very appealing. Looks fantastic, really.

The Israeli flag in the language selection section is wrong, the top and bottom are not 1/3 of the flag like the german flag, they are smaller stripes with white on both sides.
The actual lessons themselves are atrocious. There’s no sort of box around the words, just a big monocolor screen with words on it, and it’s not even that many words, even in the not-sentence-format there are far too few words. Like half of what the old lingq was.
The vocabulary part on the right is very clunky and it would probably be better to keep it the way it was.
My biggest bone to pick is that you can’t see the video with the words at the same time. That has got to change for this to be a good experience. It would be a pain to keep clicking back and forth and not be able to watch the video and read what I’m listening to at the same time.
It’s also really laggy and now I can’t actually flip the page to see more sentences, I get stuck on page 2 or something.
Also it asking me every time I click next page “do you know these words?” in a pop-up is annoying. Maybe there’s a way to get rid of it but yes, that is why I clicked the button XD
And if you click X to make a word ignored, it highlights the box around it yellow. So what is it, a lingq? ignored? I can’t tell now.
I think the lessons themselves would be better if they stayed the same with very minor graphics changes, the interface is really promising but the lessons themselves just aren’t. Maybe it’d be better to just completely revert the whole thing to the old lingq if possible and enough people agree.
If you took a screenshot to show me what you are seeing to explain the issue further, I could look into it for you.

Which app are you using? On both Web & iOS Betas you can adjust the font size & line spacing to show more words on the page

By this are you referring to the list of LingQs, New Words & All Words that shows on the lesson page?

In Sentence View, you watch the video and read the text at the same time.

You need to click the trash bin icon to ignore a word. Clicking X will create a LingQ, if you have the Auto LingQ Creation setting turned on, which is the default setting.
In regards to your issue with the Lesson reader, as I mentioned above, it would help to see a screenshot of what you’re seeing with further explanation of your issue.
The attraction of using a keyboard is to be able to operate without the mouse. Having to reach over to the mouse every time we want to ignore a word is ridiculous if we have a perfectly good ‘x’ key available.
Agree. I was hoping more of the screen would be used when in Page mode. But no. So much wasted space. Why do the audio bars at the top and bottom take up SO much space?
I did figure out that if you switch to full-screen mode by hitting the F11 key, more sentences can fit on the screen and you can see more in the box at the right.
Yes. Plenty of space to display the Course/Lesson name, blue words, yellow words, known word counts instead of hiding them behind a popup on the time-bar at top. In addition you have now hidden the page count that would normally have shown if you highlight the Dot on the time-bar.
X appears to work for me. It isn’t giving me a highlighted box around it either. Not sure if that’s a different operating system or browser that Bob is using. I’m using Chrome.
I thought by clicking ‘x’ that the OP meant clicking the X icon in the upper right of the LingQ window to close the window. Hitting the x key on keyboard does work to ignore the word for me.

Why was that changed? It was so pratical to ignore a word by clicking X.
