Moving back a level

Hi there,

I just started today and selected Beginner I, but I think I would like to refresh on the really basic stuff that is most likely explained in the “no previous knowledge” area. Is there anyway to move down to the very first level and start from the beginning?

Thank you!
Angie

Hi Angie,

Beginner 1 is actually the first level – the lessons shown when you select Beginner 1 and “No previous knowledge” are actually the same, though the difficulty of these lessons may vary. Probably the best place to start would be with Greetings and Goodbyes, a beginner collection that is translated into all of our languages here at LingQ. If you’re interested, I also recommend taking a look at VeraI’s profile. Vera is one of our top members who hails from Germany, and she has prepared excellent resources for German learners. Hi Angie,

I’ve created a blog post escpecially for beginners.
“Helpful to start learning German (Beginner in English)”: http://learninggerman.verasblogs.com/beginner-in-english/

I guess this should help you.

Have fun learning German. Feel free to ask on the forum if any question occurs. Many German members love to help and you’ll get an answer soon.

P.S. The “playlists” are a good place to look for beginner content too: Login - LingQ

Thanks everyone! I actually have a decent basic understanding of German (I lived there for 4 months 2 years ago  ) but what I do know is fading now that I’m back in Canada and I want to keep going! I’ll be sure to give it my best, anyway!
