I’d like to start by saying I adore this site and plan on becoming a full member when my dear old bank decides to send my new debit card. Now, to business. As the title states (I’m not sure I’m alone here) my laptop CPU and Temp spikes, especially on the library/lessons page. I monitor occasionaly bandwidth and this also appears to be jumping.
Another thread mentioned this, and I’m hoping this is (being) addressed, I’m not sure my Esprimo Mobile can handle it!

We’ve got a list of issues that we’re working on (http://www.lingq.com/learn/en/forum/3/16233/), so once we resolve these issues we will spend more time tweaking and optimizing the site to make things even quicker.
With regard to bandwidth, we did push some fixes for the Library pages so bandwidth use should be minimal here. We will keep an eye on this and see if anything is out of the ordinary!
Yeah I’m not worried about sending data or anything, it’s simply that when I load the library page it takes forever to load everything up. My laptop audibly groans, it really isn’t pretty! It may be a bit old but it has plenty of RAM, nothing on the site or internet slows it up like that… Think it might be what the other poster said, pre-loading the tracks or something etc.

Ah, I see. Thanks for letting us know about this. The issue with the preloading should be fixed, so I don’t think that’s the cause. We’ll be sure to do some optimizing of these pages as we move forward. Thanks for your support
