Expected behaviour

Yellow word should be displayed in yellow independently of the action taken in the dictionary.

Hi @nicolasbrunel. In this particular case (as shown in the provided screenshots), this is not a bug, sorry. Let me explain:

  1. In the first screenshot, you clicked on a word but did not select a meaning from the “Popular Meanings” block or haven’t added a custom meaning, as the “Type a new meaning here” field is blank. As a result, a lingQ was not created at this stage, and the word remains blue.
  2. However, when you click on status 2 (second screenshot), a lingQ is created by saving the status you selected along with the first meaning, updating the word accordingly (as in order to save status selected by user, word should be saved with translation). In the second screenshot, the word is shown as yellow with a yellow background for status 1, as this lingq was added into your vocabulary.
    This allows users to easily differentiate between words they have saved and those they have not. In any case, thanks for suggestion, if business approves this change to the logic, it would be implemented, but currently it works as it was asked by a business. Thanks
