Levantine Arabic tutor recommendations?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a good Levantine Arabic tutor who can complement my work in LingQ. I’m currently working through the Mini Stories and would like someone who can help me understand difficult sentences, recurring grammar and unfamiliar vocabulary.

My current focus is listening and reading comprehension rather than speaking. Ideally, I’d like a tutor who understands an input based approach and can work with the LingQ material I’m already studying.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are a few tutors on LingQ that teach Arabic.

Native Arabic speaker from Syria, now in Montreal. I learned Spanish through comprehensible input, and built Arabic All The Time – a CI platform with 300+ videos in MSA and Levantine.

What I offer:
For absolute beginners through intermediate: I specialize in making Arabic comprehensible even if you’ve never heard a word of it before. My students understand Arabic immediately from session one – you can see how I do this on my channel (Arabic All The Time).
Crosstalk sessions: I speak Arabic at your level, you respond in English. Zero pressure to produce Arabic. Natural comprehension building without speaking anxiety.
For advanced learners: Conversation practice in Levantine or MSA about topics that interest you.

Looking forward to helping you on your Arabic journey!

Otherwise check out iTalki, Preply, or any of the other 1 on 1 tutoring websites. Pricing differs wildly depending on the skill and experience of the teacher.

Thanks for the reply. Appreciated.

I’m looking specifically for a teacher who will work with my LingQ efforts. Was hoping for some personal recommendations ideally.

Will check out those others if nothing is forthcoming.

Cheers.
