I agree.
About dramas and Netflix, I don’t actually like them, so I never use them. I found that I’m more interested in variety shows, so I like watching them (some without subs, others with subs) and whenever I find an interesting word/sentence I add it on my Lingq database.
The trick isn’t really the type of media you choose, but how interesting it is for you. So anything will work if you like it.
As far as the mini stories are concerned, it’s the other way around. The original mini stories were written in English, and then they got translated into Korean. The translations you find for the Korean mini stories aren’t translations per se, they are the equivalent of the original English version.
