Hi, can we add the logeion dictionary? Or is there a dictionary for studying Koine Greek texts?
Unfortunately, we can’t support that dictionary. If you have any other suggestions, let me know.
What requirements do you need for the dictionary?
The dictionary needs to have term in the URL, only that way we can support it.
Well, I’m not exactly sure how or what I changed but it is now working just fine and provides a definition for all the Koine Greek words in the Bible I’m reading through. So far a great service!
@isaachunter Great, glad to hear it!
I didn’t even know Koine Greek was supported for LingQ. Is it just under “Greek”? I figured they would classified as separate languages, like Italian and Latin. I’ve thought about brushing up on it, but I was sad to see it wasn’t listed, and I’m not interested in modern Greek!
So, technically, it is not supported. Only modern Greek is. But, I import the Bible texts to use as lessons, and the dictionary is now translating all the Koine just fine. Not sure how, though. I believe it is AI doing it. I’m also not too interested in modern Greek as I do not plan to ever travel to Greece in the future.
