Kangaroos, elephants and the mystery of meaning in language

I’ve found this on the web.

I think it might also be of interest to some of you.

It’s an exiting Cognitive Science report of the contribution of concepts and language in connection with producing meaning, and how a newborn human develops language.

The title is:
How a joke can help us unlock the mystery of meaning in language.

It is based on the book “The crucible of Language” by Vyvyan Evans.

There is a video as well, and some links.
