Issue Creating New LingQs on PC

Hi, I can’t create new LingQs anymore. When I highlight words, nothing happens — the option to create LingQs is gone. Am I the only one having this issue? I’m on a PC, and the problem is the same on both Chrome and Firefox.

I just realized that I’m able to create LingQs when the group of words is on the same line, but if one of the words is on the line above or below, the LingQ creation is blocked.

You can’t create phrase LingQs if phrase is spread across paragraphs. Sounds like in the lesson you are using each line is considered new paragraph and that is a formatting issue. If you post lesson URL I will gladly take a look.

Here is the link that illustrates the issue I’m experiencing:

In this particular text, creating a LingQ sentence that includes a word located just above or below the line doesn’t work properly.
I tested with another text from the library, and the issue doesn’t occur there. So it seems that not all texts behave the same way when trying to create sentences in LingQ.

Thanks. As I have suspected, there is a formatting issue in this lesson and each line is considered a new paragraph. LingQ phrases can’t be saved across paragraphs and that is a problem.
I will look into this specific lesson and have it fixed.
