Is there a way to turn off the pop-ups?

I have been lingQing for a while (and know how to use most of the features) but i keep getting these pop-ups telling me things i already know. For example, how to find a lesson or to lingQ phrases.

Is there any way to stop this?

Mark Kaufmann acknowledged this irritating issue in another thread. “We’ll see what we can do here. Agreed that cookies aren’t the best way to handle this.”
