On the web I can turn on “Show Translation” and the translation displays in smaller letters.
Is there a way to do that in the app?

Es gibt auch einen ‘Show Translation’-Knopf in der App. Einfach unten im Satz. Kannst du das nicht sehen?
Not in the sentence view. I do not use the sentence view–the audio is always misaligned to the sentences, and also you have to click to advance every sentence, so that would be sooooo slow, and require clicking all the time.
I use the app to listen to 20-40 minute podcast episodes, without having to click on each sentence.
On the web I can simply click “Show Translation” to see the translation in smaller letters underneath the transcription.
I really just want to do the exact same thing on the app, but can’t see how to do it.
But I find the app interface very confusing, so I do not know if I am just too ignorant to figure out how to do it, or if they never implemented that, or if they implemented and removed it or accidentally broke it, or what…?
Na ja, diese Funktionalität gibt es nicht, aber du kannst LingQ im Browser auf deinem Handy nutzen.
Sorry, but no, it’s not available on the app version at the moment.
Thank you both for your responses.
(Adding extra letters so it will let me post my response.)
I use a browser on a tablet or mobile. You can adjust the text size in the app and on the whole device. With complicated hardware or bluetooth macro software you can have a next sentence + translation + audio come up for each sentence in turn. This should be one button press IMHO.
