Like the title says, I’d like to close out of it so I can actually read the sentences. It takes up half the screen, making the site extremely difficult to usr.

No, you can’t remove Quick Start Guide, but it will disappear automatically after you click on a word and start moving through lesson. You will be able to create LingQs, get rid of blue words and complete lesson.
