Is "gang banging" a common phrase? Does it generally refer to whatever gang is doing?

I haven’t heard it being used for just any gang activity. The line bettween the group sex activity, and the gang mischef is thin blurry.

I would think a gang meaning of gangbang to be more like someone was executed by a gang on the street corner. Usually an act of violence and ganging up on hit victims.

A gang jumping members of a rival gang and unloading on them. (in a gangbang)

xDD my final sentence there is an extremely good exmaple of this “blurry line” bettween meanings of certain words.

I asked my teenage son if he had ever heard of “gangbanging”. He went very red and ran away. I assume he is only familiar with the sexual meaning, though Heaven knows where from. I have grounded him for a week just in case :wink:
