"Internal error.[object Object]" new bug

Whenever I open a lesson and try to change the “status” of a yellow word (LingQ), this box appears that says “Internal error.[object Object]”. The system will then fail to save the changes I made. I can create new Lingqs, but can’t “learn” the old ones.

It’s only been a few days since this started. (I use Firefox, but same with other browsers)

Does anyone else have this problem?

@AnnK - Hmm, sounds to be a strange issue here. Would you be able to verify if this happens every time you open a lesson, just with specific lessons, or just every once in a while? Also, is it possible that it’s an issue with your internet connection?

Hi Alex, thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately this happens with every single LingQ in every single lesson. I virtually cannot use the program anymore which is a shame. My PC is the problem apparently. I logged in on other devices and it worked.

@AnnK - Sorry to hear about this. I’m not sure I have any advice to offer, as it seems to be a system-wide issue if it is also happening in other browsers. Does it work from a guest account on your computer? If not, then it may be related to a network firewall. If it does work in the guest account then it may be something to do with the preferences on your computer.

I’m afraid lessons are not available when you are not logged in… is this what you mean by guest account?

@AnnK - By a guest account, I was referring to your computer itself. You should be logged into an account on your computer to access your files and programs. You should also be able to log into/activate a guest account on your computer. If you’re still unsure of what to do let me know which operating system you are using and I can provide more detailed instructions.

I’m using Windows XP.

@AnnK - OK, here’s a video tutorial that will show you how to create a guest account for your computer. Once you have logged in, please go to LingQ.com and log into your regular account then try and update the status on a LingQ.
