In the previous version, I was able to avoid using the automatic import mode from YouTube or an audio file (the quality of the automatically generated transcript was not satisfactory to me then or now). I could create a lesson based on a video link and a pre-prepared transcript, or an audio file and a transcript. How can I achieve this in the new version?
Under the Import Lesson button, one of the available import options is Type or Paste, which is basically importing a lesson manually.
Thank you for the response. I’m trying the Type or Paste mode, and the first thing I notice is that there’s no option to insert a YouTube video link. One of the scenarios I was able to achieve in the old manual mode was to create a lesson based on a YouTube video and a subtitle file I had prepared myself. However, there is an option to add an audio file after uploading the text. But if I paste the contents of an SRT subtitle file into the text field and then upload an audio file, in Sentence mode the auto-generated voice reads me the phrase number in Turkish, followed by its timeframe (00:06:11,539 → 00:06:12,149). What exact steps should I follow to get a lesson based on an audio file and a transcript file? Perhaps the transcript needs to be in a specific format?
@vadimtsushko1 After you type/paste text, and import a lesson you will be redirected into a lesson directly. Then click on the lesson menu > Edit Lesson > Add Files > Add video URL.
On the edit lesson page you can add audio too and generate timestamps.
