Does lingq work at all?
Any video I try to import from youtube, it says “Error: No appropriate captions found.” not found even when the native captions are there.
Even if I try to download the audio in mp3 format and upload it to create an audio lesson, it says file not in the right format, even though I can play the audio inside of lingq after uploading.
does anything on this site work anymore?
I feel your pain. Some things work fairly well much of the time, but I don’t think that all of them work perfectly all of the time. When I’m importing material from YouTube sometimes it doesn’t work the first time I try, or I have to go in and reconfigure things after importing.
That “file not in the right format” thing is a new one to me though. It’s always something around here. I hope they get it straightened out. Being able to import YouTube videos along with their transcripts is pretty important to the way I study on this site.
